A postdoctoral research associate position is available in the group of Professor M. J. Rosseinsky OBE FRS on a project funded by the Sustainable Chemicals and Materials Manufacturing Hub (SCHEMA).
Responsibilities:
1. Develop new heterogeneous catalysts.
2. Evaluate catalysts in biomass transformation to valuable chemicals.
3. Work within an interdisciplinary team of researchers.
Qualifications:
1. PhD in chemistry or chemical engineering.
2. Strong publication record.
3. Pro-active approach with expertise in liquid phase catalysis testing and catalyst synthesis and characterisation.
