Our client is seeking a compassionate and experienced Deputy Ward Manager to join their dedicated team. This role is based within a challenging behaviour and dementia ward, offering the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals requiring specialist care.
As Deputy Ward Manager, the successful candidate will play a pivotal role in providing senior nursing leadership to the ward team, supporting the Ward Manager in ensuring high-quality, person-centred care. They will be responsible for delivering day-to-day nursing input, leading by example, and fostering a positive, supportive environment for both staff and patients.

What We’re Looking For
* Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with active NMC registration.
* Experience in a leadership or senior nursing role within mental health services.

* Provide expert nursing leadership and act as a role model for the nursing team.
* Support the Ward Manager with clinical and operational management of the ward.
* Ensure high standards of patient care, safety, and well-being.
* Supervise, mentor, and support nursing staff in their professional development.
* Contribute to the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
* Manage delegated responsibilities from the Ward Manager.
