Role & Responsibilities: Lead in managing all areas of the technical department Arrange and undertake training Develop an understanding of H&S processes and procedures Supporting with creating risk assessments and safe systems of works Admin and planning of day to day events Creating technical equipment inventories and notifying management or suppliers when new consumables or stock are needed Building a good rapport with the entertainment team Mixing and operating audio or lighting and Qlab for in house productions, bands, DJs and acts Creating maintenance schedules for technical equipment and carrying out checks and maintenance on technical equipment Assisting with get ins, set ups, and get outs Provide technical support to other park teams as and when required Having a complete understanding of how the venues are run and ensuring the daytime and evenings run smoothly, technically You could be the perfect person for this role if you Have a proven track record in technical management and operating in a theatre, live production, or live event setting Have a technical skillset and up to date knowledge of technical theatre and production Knowledge of up to date H&S legislation and the ability to risk assess and create standard operating procedures Have good written and oral communication skills and has a knowledge of admin and planning Enjoy building relationships with team and guests Have a keen eye for detail Are open to flexible working patterns Are naturally well organised Can work well under pressure Are proactive with a problem solving attitude Have knowledge on running digital sound desks Have knowledge on running Titan lighting desks Experience in Qlab setting cue lists, programming and operating Salary & benefits: £600 per week Support for training and development Dates Start Date: January 2025 End Date: November 2025 Employment Information: Contract: Worker Contract Working Hours: 42hrs per week Location: near Bridlington, Yorkshire Accommodation: We have a limited number of caravans or basic university style accommodation available; you will share a caravan or flat with a communal kitchen and facilities with your team. All rooms are single occupancy and contain a single bed and mattress with fitted storage. These can be rented for £49 per week.
