What You’ll Be Doing Camden has a new, state of the art CCTV Control Room monitoring public spaces, highways, corporate buildings and estates. This role is to support and lead on the delivery of all CCTV service requirements and undertake the lead on operating all equipment and cameras to comply with the CCTV Code of Practice. The post holder will monitor CCTV in line with Council priorities and take any immediate action and notification as appropriate to events seen. The shift pattern is 4 days on, 4 off, 365 days a year, including weekends and bank holidays. There are both permanent day and night shift positions available, please state on your application which you would like to be considered for. All About You It is essential the post holder has an in-date SIA CCTV License. It is also a requirement of this role that you will continue to qualify for a SIA CCTV license, maintain a current DBS check and pass an enhanced NPPV1(Police vetting). To be successful in this role you will need to be a team player with an enthusiastic attitude. You will have a flexible approach to work ensuring you are able to prioritise and respond to the changing operational business needs. Excellent communication skills are also required both written and verbal as you will need provide excellent customer service to all end users and have a solution driven mind-set.
