Residential Support Worker
Salary: £23,151.50 per annum plus an opportunity to earn an additional £2,600 per annum based on an average of 1 sleep-ins per week
Location: Mold, Flintshire
Contract/Hours: Permanent, Full-time - 37 hours per week (on a rota basis, working days, evenings, waking nights and weekends)

Arosfa Disability service provides short breaks and long-term residential support to children and young people who have disabilities and/or additional needs. We pride ourselves on providing a home-from-home experience for our children and young people.

About the role
Our Residential Support Worker is an entry-level role where you don't need previous experience or qualifications. We're looking for a positive attitude and the desire to give the best care to children and young people. This is a great opportunity to explore the field of Social Care and decide if it's the right fit for you while gaining practical experience.
You'll create a safe and supportive environment for children and young people to grow and develop, ensuring well-being is prioritized by delivering personalized care, guidance, and advocacy.
How you'll help to create brighter futures
You'll engage in enjoyable activities both within the project and in the community. You'll be responsible for the personal care and daily routines of the young individuals, providing support with personal hygiene, communication, administering medication, and ensuring the safeguarding of our young people by accurate recording and reporting.

Ideally you'll:
* Understand how to engage with young people.
* Have a positive approach and 'can do' attitude.
* Ability to work on your own or as part of a team.
* Be ready to complete a level 3 in Health and Social Care within 2 years of commencing employment with us, fully funded by us.
