Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant Location: England, Greater London, Croydon Job Type: Contract, Full-Time Primary Industry: Education and Training Secondary Industry: Education and Training Salary: £85 - £100 Per day Benefits: PAYE Job Description: Job Duties: Supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in their learning and development Assisting teachers in planning and delivering tailored educational activities Providing one-to-one support to students with SEN Helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment Assisting with the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) Communicating effectively with parents, teachers, and other professionals Required Qualifications: Minimum of GCSEs in English and Maths Recognised Teaching Assistant qualification Education: Secondary education required Experience: Prior experience working with children with SEN Knowledge and Skills: Understanding of SEN and different learning needs Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively as part of a team Patience and empathy when working with students Preferred Qualifications: Additional training in supporting students with specific SEN conditions Working Conditions: Work primarily within a school setting Full-time hours on a contract basis May involve some physical activity and standing for extended periods All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
