We are seeking a skilled Procurement & Contracts Manager to join our dynamic team and contribute to our mission of delivering quality and value across our procurement processes.
About the role
As the Procurement & Contracts Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing procurement activities across our dental practice network. You will ensure cost optimisation, supplier performance, and regulatory compliance while providing expert contract management advice. The role requires a strong negotiator with a proven history in procurement management. Reporting into the Head of Commercial Finance & Procurement, you will have regular contact with senior leaders across the business.
Key Responsibilities
1. Oversee & manage diverse range of contracts to support functions across the business
2. Lead contract renewals & tender process as well as presenting business cases to senior leaders
3. Identify cost savings & areas to improve efficiency in procurement processes
4. Collaborate cross-functionally with other departments to support the business achieving both, new strategic & BAU operational goals
5. Primary point of contact for current & prospective suppliers to the business and foster strong supplier relationships
6. Manage procurement projects from initiation to completion with both internal & external stakeholders
7. Ensure compliance with industry regulations, company policies, and ethical standards.
8. Develop and maintain procurement policies and procedures
9. Analyse & forecast business demand to achieve economies of scale
Requirements
Essential:
10. Proven track record in procurement management
11. Strong negotiation and contract management skills
12. Ability to manage multiple contracts and procurement projects effectively
13. Strong analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills
14. Excellent communication and stakeholder management
Desirable:
15. Experience in a clinical or healthcare setting
16. CIPS qualification
