Job summary Band 5 Staff Nurse - Acute Assessment Unit NMC PIN IS ESSENTIAL FOR THIS POSITION Basingstoke and North Hampshire Hospital Are you looking to develop your Acute medical nursing skills in a well-supported environment? Whether you have worked in Medicine, Surgery, Critical Care or Orthopaedics this post will enable you to build on the skills you have. You will also be able to use your clinical expertise working in our high acuity area and our expanding ambulatory service. You will be supported by the Clinical Matron and ward sisters. Development of staff is key to running our service effectively and we will invest our time in developing you. No two days are the same on AAU, however what we can promise to offer is an opportunity to develop and enhance your nursing skills within a friendly & knowledgeable team. Main duties of the job Enthusiastic and passionate registered Nurses with experience who are eager to develop your own clinical practice, knowledge and skills Staff who are able to (or willing to learn) to act as a role model for colleagues and student nurses within our team Nurses who are able to support the team to ensure that clinical services are delivered to a high standard.
