Interim Accountancy Recruitment Solutions Interim NHS Assistant Management Accountant Immediately Required Our client, a well-respected public sector body in South Wales, is looking for an Assistant Management Accountant to come on board on a temporary basis for 6 months initially that could be extended. Location: South Wales (Predominantly Remote – Occasional travel onsite for meetings) Hours: 37.5 hours per week (Monday-Friday) Length of Contract: 6 months Hourly Rate: £15.02 via Umbrella Vacancy: 88566 Day to Day Duties: Support teams to ensure that the portfolio of day-to-day tasks & project contribution is planned, managed and delivered effectively The post holder will assist the Assistant Head of Finance & the Management Accountant in delivering high quality financial information and analysis for the Primary Care portfolio. The post holder will work closely with budget holders, providing a range of specialist and expert financial advice, training and support to enable the delivery of services efficiently and economically. To work closely with General Practice & external partners, in instances, operating autonomously to support the provision of timely and accurate financial information. The post holder is a key member of the team whose overarching goal is to enable, promote and support the effective use of data, information, knowledge and technology to improve, inform and support a portfolio of day-to-day tasks, projects, services, and initiatives. Ensures financial information is processed in accordance with procedures in order to provide information for statutory returns. Investigates complex enquiries providing assistance and advice as required. Ensures that work is completed in line with required timescales and legal requirements interpreting these where necessary.
