We have opportunities available for recent graduates from 2023 and 2024 who are ready to start immediately and for candidates graduating in 2025.
Some software experience is useful, but not crucial. It's great to find individuals who spend their spare time writing code, who want to turn their creative outlet into a successful career. But we can also train individuals who have the right potential to shine at software engineering; our primary criteria for recruiting are potential and passion rather than what you happen to already know.
We have a very happy and supportive company culture with exceptional work-life balance. Our modern office is based in Taunton and has excellent transport links. We have a relaxed but hardworking environment where jeans and t-shirts are the norm and good ideas, and debate are encouraged. You’ll work as part of an agile team, taking part in sprint planning sessions, daily scrums and sprint reviews and retrospectives.
IEP specialise in the Security, Aerospace and Defence sectors working with government departments and agencies facing critical organisational issues and challenges arising from rapidly changing digital and data technologies.
Our team has deep experience delivering into the Public Sector and we work as part of a community bringing together expertise from industry and academia to innovate collaboratively.
As a software developer at IEP, you'll contribute to two key areas. Initially your time will be dedicated to the development and implementation of new features and maintaining the Company’s bespoke public protection software application. As your knowledge and experience grow, you will have the opportunity to work on unique projects that tackle real-world problems and make a difference.
