* This is a significant high-profile managerial role in the Online George.com team with key responsibility for central management of all online metric plans and forecasts for the channel. You will play a key role between key stakeholders marketing, commercial, and logistics on the plan creation and re-forecast short and long term. This role sits in the leadership team for George.com and reports directly to the Director of Online for George.com.
* Leading and executing short-term to long-term forecasts for online across demand sales, volume performance, trade performance, and margin performance.
* In year responsible for reforecast across online metrics working closely across key business stakeholders Trading and Finance.
* Support the delivery of the Gross Profit & Variable Profit challenges of the business to improve overall Net profit return.
* Prioritize customers based on profitability in partnership with Online Director and Brand Director.
* Working in partnership with Online supply teams to manage the Asda Logistics operation across the 5 fulfillment sites.
* Working in partnership with Operation leads, to ensure key logistic partners deliver a fulfilment operation that meets our needs and growth ambitions.
* Working in partnership with Asda Logistics to plan and reforecast sales volumes to support the delivery of the cost plans and delivery proposition.
* Key role in cascading the Online commercial plans with business stakeholders including Online Proposition, Online Trade & Merchandise, and Brand.
* As part of the George.com leadership team will be an active participant in process improvement and strategic direction aligning with business priorities.
* Sets strategic direction on delivery price strategy and develops future opportunities to increase revenues whilst remaining competitive to the market.
* Manage the George.com Delivery service proposition, including management and forecasting the delivery income.

* Ideal candidate has over 3-5 years of experience in a demand planning role.
* Possess strong analytical skills, with experience handling large data sets and a proven ability to develop demand forecasting systems.
* Depth of experience across reporting and analysis tools such as Power BI, Google Analytics beneficial.
* Fantastic communication and relationship building to manage all stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
* Ability to build and maintain a strong network of peers and contacts across Leadership tiers.
* You will be comfortable challenging and influencing situations whilst maintaining solid internal and external connections.
* Demonstrate strong knowledge of online planning and fulfilment operations integral to the role.
* You will achieve results through inspiring and motivating cross-functional teams influencing action where needed and deliver against the strategy.
