Vision are in search of a strong and passionate Year 1 Class Teacher to work part-time in a nurturing, happy, and fun Primary School in north Cambridge.
About the role
This friendly local authority school is looking for a Class Teacher for a Year 1 class to teach on a Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday from February half term. As a class teacher, you will undertake all responsibilities expected, but with the strong support of a very experienced colleague in the adjacent class. If you have KS2 experience and have always liked the idea of trying KS1, this is a great opportunity! The role is a one and a half term contract from February 2025.

They are a local authority school with approximately 400 children on roll and have a very established and settled staff team with a huge amount of experience and expertise.
Requirements
To be considered for the role of Year 1 Teacher you will:
1. Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team of Primary Teachers.
2. Have a passion for teaching with the ability to cover pre-prepared work set by the full-time teacher.
3. Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

Salary
GBP31,650 to GBP43,606 per year, pro-rata for duration of contract. Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications.

The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are:
1. Teaching experience with QTS from ECT to highly experienced teachers.
