Housing Management Worker
As a Housing Management Worker, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful operation and maintenance of housing properties. This position requires a detail-oriented and proactive individual committed to enhancing residents' living conditions and overall well-being.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
1. Overseeing the day-to-day management of residential properties, ensuring they meet quality standards and comply with relevant regulations.
2. Conducting regular property inspections and coordinating necessary repairs and maintenance.
3. Fostering positive relationships with tenants, addressing their concerns, and ensuring a supportive and respectful living environment.
4. Providing tenants with information and guidance on tenancy agreements, rights, and responsibilities.
5. Coordinating the allocation of housing units, including processing applications, conducting interviews, and ensuring fair and transparent allocation processes.
6. Managing vacant properties, overseeing cleaning, maintenance, and preparing units for new tenants.
7. Developing and implementing community engagement initiatives to foster a sense of community among residents.
8. Collaborating with local agencies and organizations to enhance overall community well-being.
Requirements:
* Previous experience in housing management, property management, or a related field.
* Knowledge of relevant housing legislation and regulations.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
* Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
* Proficiency in using relevant software and databases.
* Enhanced DBS check dated within the last 12 months. If you are on the update service, you could be fast-tracked through our recruitment process today.
* Willingness to complete an enhanced DBS if you do not currently hold one.
