Job Title: Economic Development Manager Location: Newtownabbey Hours: 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9:00am 5:00pm Salary: £25.79 per hour Duration: Temporary. This position involves managing investment projects, developing strategic partnerships, and overseeing key economic development programmes. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in economic development and regeneration, with strong leadership and project management skills. Key Responsibilities: Advise senior management on economic development strategies. Lead regeneration and investment projects to support local growth. Develop and manage partnerships with government, businesses, and external agencies. Secure funding for local projects and manage project budgets. Promote the borough as an attractive investment destination. Essential Requirements: Degree in Business, Economics, Urban Development, or related field (or 4 years of relevant experience). At least 2 years of experience in managing economic development or regeneration projects. Strong communication, leadership, and project management skills. Full current driving licence.
