Job Description
Working hours are Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm.
Main Duties
* Installing and configuring workstations
* Maintaining Internet connections
* Maintaining networks
* Supporting Microsoft Client & Server platforms, Active Directory, Group Policy, NTFS permissions, Office365 and remote access.
* Networking: VLANs, Switching, WIFI, routing, LAN, WAN.
* Patching cables
* Installing printers / peripherals
* Onsite trouble shooting, for all of the above across multiple sites
* Troubleshooting protocols like HTTP, SMTP, FTP, SMB, DNS and DHCP.
* Document technical specifications and reports
* Manage site schedules and timetables
* Provide telephone and remote support for users.
* Monitor and respond quickly and effectively to requests received through the IT helpdesk.
* Monitor Service Desk for tickets assigned to the queue and process first-in first-out based on priority
* Support VOIP phone system
* Troubleshooting and support applications.
Qualifications
* Previous technical experience in a similar role.
* Proven experience of working with clients.
* Good interpersonal skills are required, as is the ability to communicate well, both verbally and written.
* Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
* Must be able to efficiently work and communicate in English verbally and in writing.
* Team player
* Able to operate in a dynamic environment with defined deadlines.
* Self-motivated and results oriented.
