PRS Recruitment Services is currently recruiting for a Cleaning Manager to work at one of our client’s schools in Dover.
Role: Cleaning Manager
Start date: ASAP
Time of Work: 5 days out of 7, 40 hours a week, anytime from 7am to 7pm
Team Size: Manage a team of 12 cleaners
Contract: Temp to perm
Salary: £42K per year or £20 per hour
We require a Cleaning Manager with ideally an FM background, who has experience in day-to-day cleaning management and the upkeep and cleaning of pools.
Responsibilities include:
1. Schedule cleaning team to ensure all areas are kept safe, clean, and hygienic
2. Manage the in-house laundry service
3. Order materials using the school IT system and ensure delivery across the school
4. Ensure payroll data is completed and sent to payroll correctly
5. Maintain standards through regular site walk rounds and internal audits
6. Report on efficiencies and shortfalls in best practices
7. Identify and rectify skills shortages and training requirements of the team
8. Build relationships with department heads
9. Experience in education cleaning preferred
