A continued demand on our panel-build/workshop facility has identified a mid/long-term requirement to maintain a permanent staffing level within this area of our business, this may also bring opportunities to improve our historical working practises, to progress increased management of the workshop facility and to better co-ordinate its interface with our engineering dept.

Workshop Supervisor Role
The key duties of this role are to ensure the effective usage of the workshop and it’s stores management, this will support the smooth running of the facility and its productive usage.
The following tasks have been listed, for ongoing implementation, whilst opportunities to both challenge and change our working practices are encouraged:
* Report directly to the NFA Project Management Team
* Overseeing the receipt and storage of incoming items (goods receiving);
* Administering a basic stock control system including any bonded stock items, making sure inventories are updated on a regular basis (training will be provided on the usage of our MS Access system);
* Ensuring that the correct stock levels of commonly used items are set and maintained (cabling, DIN rail and trunking etc.), that orders and reorders are made (or requested to be made) in good time, anticipating requirements by referencing the workshop plan;
