Our catering team is responsible for the essential job of keeping our guests and colleagues fuelled and hydrated, ready for the adventure that awaits them Reporting to the Front of House Manager, you’ll be leading a team of Catering Assistants to ensure the dining room is clean and inviting, the food tasty and appealing, and our guests happy and well looked after. Responsibilities: Supervise Catering Staff : Oversee the work of catering assistants and kitchen staff, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard Menu Planning : Collaborate with chefs to develop and implement menus that meet quality standards and customer preferences Quality Control : Ensure all food served meets the highest standards of presentation and quality Health and Safety Compliance : Maintain strict adherence to food safety and hygiene regulations Customer Service : Handle customer inquiries and complaints, ensuring a pleasant dining experience Inventory Management : Monitor catering supplies and manage relationships with vendors and suppliers Staff Training : Provide training and development opportunities for catering staff to enhance their skills and performance Scheduling : Organise staff schedules and shifts to ensure adequate coverage during peak times Skills: Leadership : Ability to lead and motivate a team effectively Communication : Excellent verbal and written communication skills Organisational Skills : Strong organisational abilities to manage multiple tasks and priorities Customer Service : A friendly and approachable demeanour to provide excellent customer service Problem-Solving : Ability to handle challenging situations and resolve issues promptly We’re looking for individuals with three or more months experience within a catering role and a level 3 or above qualification in Food Safety. Experience of working with young people and supervising a team is a bonus, but not essential for this position.
