We are a compassionate and forward-thinking school based in Basildon, dedicated to providing outstanding education and support to children with special educational needs (SEN). We are currently seeking a dedicated and empathetic 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team and work closely with a child who has specific learning needs. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real, positive difference in a child's educational journey and be part of a supportive and inclusive school community.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Provide tailored 1:1 support to a child with SEN, assisting them with their learning and development.
2. Adapt and modify classroom activities to suit the child's individual needs and abilities.
3. Help the child engage with the curriculum and ensure they are fully included in class activities.
4. Work closely with the class teacher and SENCo (Special Educational Needs Coordinator) to implement effective support strategies.
5. Assist with personal care and/or mobility needs if required.
6. Monitor and record progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents where appropriate.
