Job Description
Are you an experienced Stress Engineer looking to work on critical aircraft components? Join ALTEN UK and contribute to the maintenance and structural analysis of major commercial aircraft programmes, including single-aisle and wide-body jets. You’ll play a key role in structural integrity assessments, utilizing Patran, Nastran, and Ansys to ensure high-performance, safety-critical designs in the aerospace industry.
Key Responsibilities:
✅ Perform structural analysis on metallic and composite aircraft components
✅ Utilize Patran, Nastran, and Ansys for finite element analysis (FEA) and stress calculations
✅ Support TAM (Tooling, Assembly & Manufacturing) activities for efficient maintenance solutions
✅ Ensure compliance with aerospace safety standards and structural integrity requirements
✅ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve engineering challenges
✅ Document and present analysis findings for certification and approval
Qualifications
Key Skills & Experience:
5+ years experience in Stress Engineering within aerospace
Proficiency in Patran, Nastran, and Ansys for FEA and stress analysis
Strong understanding of metallic and composite structures
Experience with TAM (Tooling, Assembly & Manufacturing) activities
