Supply Chain & Operations, Senior Consultant - Planning Transformation The opportunity In EY, we are looking to expand and develop our Supply Chain & Operations Consulting practice to meet market demand in a number of areas: Planning Transformation Development of Supply Chain Strategy and Operating Models Supply Chain Process Optimisation and Performance Improvement Sustainable Supply Chain Development Within EY's SC&O Practice sits our SC Planning Transformation team. The focus of this Teams work is delivering client engagements that enable their clients to maximise business value through the optimisation of the Demand / Supply relationship in order that it delivers the most cost & cash effective supply chain with best on class customer service performance. In addition to delivery on client engagements, as a senior consultant you will build valued relationships with external clients and internal peers. You will support complex programmes and develop expertise in the area of Planning Transformation. You will develop innovative commercial insights for clients and adapt methods and practices to fit operational team and cultural needs. As a Senior Consultant in Supply Chain, you will: Have a track record of supporting supply chain work in the marketplace, underpinned with a strong, trusted network Have experience in working as part of a team of cross-functional experts of different levels Demonstrate strong technical capabilities and professional knowledge in your functional area of Supply Chain. Demonstrate ability to quickly learn new processes and uncover new offerings that may assist current customer base. Tactical and process oriented problem-solving. Excellent interpersonal relations and demonstrated ability to work with others effectively in teams Ability to develop and present new ideas and conceptualize new approaches and solutions Superior verbal and written communication skills Build relationships with client personnel and deliver quality client services. Experience in using digital technology to enhance end-to-end supply chain performance. Maintain a learning & development program to continually develop personal skills. Act as a role model for EY values, integrity and professional ethics. To qualify for the role, you must have knowledge and experience in a number of the following areas: Hold a third level qualification, preferably in supply chain, engineering or business or equivalent. Have at least 3 years of experience in a supply chain environment, with special emphasis on supply chain planning, Inventory planning and/or Supply Chain transformation projects Have deep knowledge in one, or more, of the specific areas of expertise: supply chain planning, Supply Chain operating model design, process optimization and process improvement and end-to-end supply chain management. Be exceptionally motivated to bring your expertise, focusing on Supply Chain Planning to help our clients fundamentally improve their operations. Be a forward thinker and self-motivator that thrives on new challenges and adapts quickly to learning new knowledge. Exhibit strong stakeholder management and communication experience. Having prior consulting experience would be of benefit.
