About the Role:
* Deliver engaging and challenging Geography lessons across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5, following relevant examination specifications.
* Plan and prepare high-quality lessons that cater to the needs of academically gifted students.
* Utilize a range of teaching methods and resources, including fieldwork, GIS, and data analysis, to enhance student learning.
* Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and support individual learning journeys.
* Prepare students for GCSE and A-Level Geography examinations, ensuring they have a strong understanding of assessment criteria.
* Contribute to the development of the Geography curriculum and resources.
* Foster a passion for geography in students, encouraging them to develop their critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
* Work collaboratively with colleagues to create a cohesive and supportive learning environment.
* Contribute to extracurricular activities and enrichment programs related to geography and environmental issues.
Ideal Candidate:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
* Strong subject knowledge in Geography.
* Demonstrated ability to teach across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5.
* Experience in preparing students for GCSE and A-Level Geography examinations.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.
