We are seeking a skilled and certified Hydrotherapy Personal Trainer to provide water-based rehabilitation and fitness training to clients. The ideal candidate will have expertise in aquatic exercises, injury rehabilitation, and fitness programs tailored to individual needs. The role requires working with clients of varying fitness levels, including individuals recovering from injuries, those with mobility challenges, and athletes seeking low-impact training.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct individual and group hydrotherapy sessions tailored to client needs.
* Develop personalized water-based exercise programs for rehabilitation, mobility improvement, and general fitness.
* Guide clients through safe and effective aquatic exercises to enhance strength, flexibility, endurance, and recovery.
* Work with physiotherapists, doctors, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate treatment plans.
* Monitor client progress and adjust training programs accordingly.
* Educate clients on the benefits of hydrotherapy and proper techniques to maximize results.
* Ensure safety protocols and pool hygiene standards are maintained at all times.
* Provide motivation and support to clients to help them achieve their fitness and recovery goals.
* Maintain accurate records of client progress and session details.
Qualifications & Skills:
* Certification in Personal Training, Hydrotherapy, or Aquatic Therapy (e.g., NASM, AEA, STA Aquacise, or equivalent).
* Experience in aquatic exercise, rehabilitation, or personal training.
* Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and injury rehabilitation.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work with diverse client populations, including seniors, athletes, and individuals with disabilities.
* CPR, First Aid, and Lifeguard certification (preferred).
* Patience, empathy, and a strong commitment to client well-being.
Preferred Experience:
* Previous experience as a Hydrotherapy Trainer, Aquatic Fitness Instructor, or Physical Therapist Assistant.
* Experience working in rehabilitation centers, wellness clinics, or fitness facilities with hydrotherapy programs.
Work Environment & Schedule:
* Work primarily in a heated pool environment.
* May require early morning, evening, or weekend shifts based on client schedules.
* Combination of one-on-one and group training sessions.
