The post holder will need to focus on both retaining and developing existing clients and securing new customers and partnerships for BSC’s different product streams. The successful candidate will be well-versed on the assigned markets and will ideally already hold relationships with key partners in that area. 1. Business Development Management Assume the role of strategic regional specialist, maintaining an expert and up to date knowledge of the ELT and Pathways sectors, monitoring trends & competitor activity and reporting on market intelligence Develop and implement marketing and recruitment plans for designated target markets to achieve annual sales targets and agreed KPIs Arrange and undertake visits to designated target markets which include initiatives that target students at each stage of the Student Journey Manage and develop existing and new key accounts, driving repeat sales through B2B networks Monitor leads, opportunities and pipeline ensuring conversion rates increase year-on-year Work effectively with BSC’ international representatives in the region, ensuring that all agent records are active and up to date 2. Marketing & External Communications Help identify in country opportunities as they arise Attend international events, conferences, exhibitions and workshops to increase awareness of BSC in the region Work closely with the marketing team to provide market intelligence, identify opportunities, and collaborate on marketing campaigns and collateral Prepare and deliver webinars and Product Knowledge sessions as required Liaise with key partners and agents on potential opportunities Manage challenging situations with partners as required 3. Internal Communications Provide support to all teams across BSC as required, liaising closely with all departments regarding new business proposals to ensure that the proposed plans are commercially viable and fit within the BSC product portfolio Maintain in-depth product knowledge of BSC’s portfolio for ELT, Teacher Training, OET and Pathways streams as well as all new products as they become available for sale Specific Role Requirements 3 years’ experience in business development and account management in a B2B environment A second language relevant to the market Experience in developing new business in any industry within the service sector IT proficiency with Microsoft Office products Desired Experience/Skills: Previous experience in education sales would be advantageous Further Information At BSC we expect all our team members to operate in a manner that is aligned with our Company values.
