Hourly Rate: from £13.00 p.h. (Weekend and Bank Holiday Premiums)
Hours per week: between 16 and 40 per week depending on availability.
Set shift pattern: Week 1 - Mon / Tue / Sat / Sun; Week 2 - Wed / Thu / Fri

We are looking for kind, compassionate and reliable individuals to join our growing team.
You ideally already have the skills and knowledge you need to make a great Care Assistant, but we can offer you the training to perfect your skills and enable you to take the next step in your career.
Requirements of a Care Assistant:
1. Must hold a full and valid UK or EU/EEA driving licence and have access to own vehicle
2. Have current right to work in the U.K – we do not have licence to issue CoS
3. Have availability at least every second weekend.
4. Commit to attending an initial 4-day training course
5. Must be located in close proximity to North Fife (DD6 area) as travel within these areas is required
6. Have or be willing to obtain class 1 business vehicle insurance
7. SVQ2/SVQ3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent (preferred, not essential)
8. Current registration with the Scottish Social Services council (preferred, not essential)
9. Applicants must be members or willing to become members of the Disclosure Scotland Protection of Vulnerable Groups scheme (PVG) prior to commencing in post.

Duties will include:
1. Motivating Clients to get the most out of their day
2. Personal care
3. Administering medication
4. Assisting Clients with washing and dressing
5. Light housekeeping
6. Meal preparation
