IT Application Product Owner
Location: RG7 4PR, located between Reading and Basingstoke, with free onsite parking.
Package: £48,250 - £65,000 (depending on your suitability, qualifications, and level of experience)
Working pattern: AWE operates a 9-day working fortnight.
Let us introduce the role
AWE is currently recruiting for an IT Application Product Owner for the Enterprise Applications group.
Key Accountabilities:
1. Delivering a resilient service to the business that fulfils user requirements and service level agreements
2. Implement application changes in line with IS/ IT processes, procedures, and policies to budget, time, and scope
3. Maintain the application roadmaps with the Senior Application Services Manager and Head of Enterprise Applications
4. Manage the application change backlog
5. Communicate with key business stakeholders to ensure solutions meet expectations
6. IT functional consultancy for the applications
7. Management of resources to support the application
8. Maintain the IT application configuration baseline and system architecture in accordance with corporate IS/ IT specifications
Key Responsibilities:
9. Work collaboratively with the business relationship managers and customers to prioritise and schedule work
10. Maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring excellent levels of engagement, collaboration, and forward planning
11. Contribute to budget planning
12. The Company may require you to fulfil any other reasonable duties aligned to your position from time to time in line with business needs
Who are we looking for?

13. Delivering innovative IT solutions at enterprise scale.
14. IT service, change, and application lifecycle management
15. IT environment management (development, staging, production, etc)
16. Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey appropriate detail to technical and non-technical audiences at all levels of seniority
17. Business relationship and stakeholder management
18. Vendor and contract management
19. People management and leadership
Whilst not to be considered a tick list, we'd like you to have experience in some of the following:
20. Implementation and use of the of the Workday platform, especially the Human Capital Management (HCM) and Payroll functional areas
21. Implementation and use of the of the Saba Cloud e-learning platform
22. Integration of HR/ payroll applications with other information systems such as an ERP, including data flows, master data management, etc
23. Data mastery; surfacing data for business intelligence
24. The application of Artificial Intelligence (AI) within the context of human capital management
25. ITIL Service Management certification
26. Working within a SIAM framework
27. Managing IT in a secure, complex, and highly regulated environment
28. Finance management
29. Relevant software vendor training and certifications
You'll need to have the ability to work calmly and constructively in a priority changing environment and be able to manage your own workload. You will also have initiative, enthusiasm, a flexible approach, and ability to work to tight deadlines.

Hybrid working is available for this role on an informal, non-contractual basis. Typically 2/ 3 days onsite per week.
