6 Month Fixed Term Contract.
Full time Monday- Friday, 0700 – 1530 hours – 37.5 hours. Possibly weekend work 1 in 8 weeks.
Salary – up to £32,000.00 depending on experience plus Serco benefits.
To provide safe and efficient maintenance of the Building Fabric and equipment within the hospital as directed by Estates Supervisors and Management
Main Accountabilities:
* Working within a team or independently when required.
* Adhere to safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE) when necessary.
* Repair fire-rated doors in accordance with fire regulations, safety regulations and manufacture guidelines.
* Ensure compliance with fire safety regulations, including fire ratings, smoke sealing and door clearances.
* Install and maintain fire rated door hardware, including locks, hinges, and closers.
What you’ll need to do the role:
* NVQ 2 Carpentry (Required).
* BM Trada Trained (Desired).
* All aspects of fire door inspection and maintenance (Required).
* Good communication and customer service skills.
* Health & Safety awareness and safe working.
