In this pivotal role, you will manage, develop, and inspire a team of social workers to deliver high-quality services that safeguard and promote the welfare of those in need.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and develop a social work team to ensure the delivery of high-quality services.
* Safeguard and promote the welfare of vulnerable children, young people, and their families.
* Manage the reputation of the Service and the Council.
* Respond to new challenges, priorities, and requirements while maintaining statutory obligations.
* Utilise resources effectively to achieve the best outcomes.
* Drive practice development and implement changes into operational service improvement plans.
* Measure actual service delivery against improvement plans.

* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
* Ability to manage resources effectively and respond to changing priorities.
