Role Description
BuzzKit is seeking a full-time Digital Marketing Manager to drive lead generation, brand growth, and client satisfaction. This hybrid role, based in Birmingham with remote flexibility, involves managing social media campaigns, analyzing web performance, and developing client proposals. You’ll collaborate with marketing, creative, and strategy teams to oversee projects and maintain strong client relationships. Ideal candidates have excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for social media marketing in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Growth
1. Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the company's client base.
2. Develop and execute strategies to attract potential clients and convert leads into long-term partnerships.
3. Network and engage with industry professionals to build brand awareness and generate sales opportunities.
4. Collaborate with the leadership team to set revenue targets and actively work towards achieving them.
5. Leverage insights from client interactions and market trends to propose new services and innovative solutions.
6. Stay updated on social media trends, best practices, and emerging technologies.
7. Assist in developing customised proposals and presentations for new and existing clients.
8. Identify opportunities to expand services or introduce new offerings to increase client satisfaction and revenue.
Client Relationship Management
1. Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned client accounts.
2. Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients.
3. Conduct regular check-ins to understand clients’ needs and ensure satisfaction.
4. Assist in developing customised proposals and presentations for new and existing clients.
Project Coordination
1. Oversee and coordinate the execution of social media marketing campaigns.
2. Work closely with creative and strategy teams to develop and deliver campaigns on time.
3. Monitor and report on project milestones to both clients and internal stakeholders.
Performance Tracking & Reporting
1. Track key performance metrics (KPIs) and generate regular performance reports.
2. Analyse data to provide actionable insights and recommendations for campaign optimization.
3. Collaborate with the analytics team to interpret campaign outcomes and suggest improvements.
Administrative Duties
1. Maintain accurate and organised client records, contracts, and billing information.
2. Support the finance team in ensuring timely invoicing and payments.
3. Handle day-to-day administrative tasks related to account management.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
Experience: 1–2 years of experience in account management, client services, or a similar role (agency experience preferred).
Technical Skills:
1. Familiarity with social media platforms and basic digital marketing principles.
2. Proficiency in Microsoft Office/Google Workspace; experience with project management tools (e.g., Asana, Trello, Monday.com) is a plus.
3. Basic understanding of social media analytics tools and reporting.
Soft Skills:
1. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
2. Strong organizational and time-management abilities, with keen attention to detail.
3. Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
