A Primary School in the BS16 area is looking for an ECT Teacher to join their team at the start of June.
This supply ECT role provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on classroom experience, network with experienced teachers, and opportunities to reflect and improve through feedback and support. Stronger foundations for long-term career growth in education and potentially secure a permanent teaching position from September.
The Role
Your main role is to plan and deliver lessons, manage the classroom, assess student progress, and contribute to the wider school community, all while developing their teaching practice. You will work closely with a mentor and follow the Early Career Framework to build confidence and skills.
You will be expected to:
* Plan and deliver lessons that follow the curriculum.
* Assess and monitor pupil progress.
* Manage classroom behaviour effectively.
* Work with a mentor and take part in professional development.
* Adapt teaching to support pupils with different needs.
* Follow school policies, including safeguarding procedures.
Working with Long-term Teachers:
