SEN Learning Support Assistant Primary School, Mitcham (CR4) £95/day We have an opportunity for a SEN Learning Support Assistant to join a team of passionate educators. The successful candidate will provide 1:1 support to students with Special Educational Needs (ASC, ADHD) Key Responsibilities: Provide tailored 1:1 support to students Support classroom teachers in managing and adapting lesson plans Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment. Monitor and record students' progress and provide feedback to teachers and parents. Assist with the personal care needs of students, if required. Skills and Experience: Previous experience in a classroom setting, particularly with SEN students. Strong understanding of various SEN conditions and effective support strategies. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other support staff. Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with children. Qualifications: Relevant qualifications in education or SEN support are desirable but not mandatory A valid DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
