Oversight Consultant
The Oversight Consultant supports the formal Governance and oversight of the Services provided on behalf of M&G by material third party suppliers in line with the standards set out in the Third-Party policy standards. The role holder will support the delivery of these responsibilities through data, insight and engagement across M&G Life.
The role holder will work with subject matter experts across M&G and material third party suppliers to obtain and analyse the relevant information and insight to validate these commitments are being met.
Key Responsibilities for this role:
* To operate within the Third-Party policy standards framework for material third party suppliers by working with others to deliver within a collaborative environment.
* Use multiple sources of insight, data, experience and journey performance to analyse the delivery of operational customer commitments against required standards within the appropriate risk profile. Where these fall short escalate this to the Oversight Relationship Manager.
* Collaborate with subject matter experts within M&G and the third-party suppliers to support them in understanding and fulfilling their roles and responsibilities for our customers.
* Act as point of contact for matters relating to the Governance and oversight of third Party delivered Services.
* Work in collaboration with others to develop our strategic partnerships.
* Support the Oversight Relationship Manager to monitor the oversight of the business readiness of third-party suppliers to ensure the successful implementation of change with minimal customer/risk impact.
* Meet the required standard for the governance framework for oversight of material third party suppliers.
* To work collaboratively with colleagues and take personal accountability to maintain and enhance controls you are responsible for to support improvement of the overall control environment, customer outcomes and a reduction in Prudential UK's operational risk.
Key Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
* Good knowledge of M&G commercial obligations and that of their material third party providers in respect of the delivery of the Services and issue resolution (essential).
* Good knowledge of customer delivery, risks and commercial drivers of an operation (essential).
* Demonstrable knowledge of working in collaboration with third party suppliers across pensions administration and inbound and outbound mail fulfilment (essential).
* Resilience when working with unclear situations and ability to react as speed (essential).
* Ability to build strong networks across a diverse range of business areas (essential).
Experience statements:
* Experience in creating and maintaining working relationships at varying levels across Financial Services and third-party suppliers (essential).
