The Diocese of Sheffield is an exciting place to be as we seek to realise our Vision. Our Archdeacons, who have a wide and interesting role to play in bringing about the Vision, are seeking a Personal Assistant/Secretary to be an important part in supporting their work.
As part of a team, this role will work collaboratively to ensure the provision of effective and personable administrative and diary management services. Responsibilities include:
1. Dealing with incoming enquiries
2. Letter and report writing
3. Supporting recruitment processes
4. Helping to run the Archdeacon’s office
5. Creating a positive and well-run environment
Part time, 24 hours per week (Working Pattern Flexible)
Salary: £28,077 FTE (£19,252.70 per annum part-time)
10% employer contribution to pension
Generous holiday entitlement
Based at Diocesan Church House in Rotherham, with some hybrid working from home
