It’s a unique and exciting time to be a part of the Western Power family. We’re at the forefront of the energy transition and have a huge scope of work to achieve in the short, medium and longer term; the secret to our power is our people and we need additional and diverse resources to pave the way to smashing our goals, that’s why we need you!
In support of the State Government Decarbonisation Strategy, Western Power has begun enhancing the existing network to enable future connection of large-scale renewable generation and load in the north region of the SWIN. Kicking off this strategy is the North Region Energy Program (NREP) which will increase network transfer capacity between the North Region and Perth Metropolitan load centre, reducing constraints on existing connected generation in the North and allowing for further generation connections in the region. Works will include, but are not limited to, civil and electrical construction, and electrical commissioning for Transmission lines and substations, and include a mixture of both greenfield and brownfields work.
To facilitate delivery of these works Western Power are seeking expressions of interest for a variety of roles that will be fundamental to the successful delivery of NREP. We’re looking for boots on the ground in the shape of:
1. Project Managers
2. Project Coordinators
3. Project Planners (Primavera P6 preferred)
4. Quantity Surveyors
5. Senior Contracts Managers
6. Project Engineers
7. Scheduling Specialists
8. Contract Administrators
9. Assurance and Quality specialists
