This is a varied role; each day may be different from the previous. The role will involve greeting customers as they enter the auction house, answering the telephone, replying to emails, assisting the auctioneer/valuer, packing, portering, photography, as well as ensuring the tidiness and cleanliness of the saleroom.
The successful candidate will be responsible for packing goods purchased at auction and arranging postage schedules.
Photographing items lotted for sale and portering items in and out of the saleroom.
You will be liaising directly with our clients face to face and via telephone and email, so a high standard of literacy and numeracy is required.
Working Hours:
* Mondays 10am - 6pm
* Tuesdays 10am - 6pm
* Wednesdays 10am - 6pm
* Thursdays 10am - 6pm
* Fridays 10am - 6pm
Skills Required:
* Computer literate
* Photography skills
* Good communication skills
* Experience of packing fragile goods is a bonus
