Job summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Matron to join our Specialist services based in the West Suffolk locality, overseeing our ADHD and Autism teams.
In this role, you will have overall responsibility for the clinical, operational, performance, and financial management functions of your designated services. You will work alongside the Associate Director of Operations and hold joint responsibility for financial management, ensuring effective and efficient clinical, quality, and safety performance.
Our Future Leadership Structure will see our clinical teams working more closely with partners at place level alongside strengthening clinical and professional leadership. We are developing a clinical transformation programme alongside our partners to enhance the clinical outcomes our service users experience as well as continuing to improve experience of care.

Main duties of the job
As Matron, you will work closely with the locality leadership team to ensure that high quality care is delivered within your services and will provide professional leadership to the nursing workforce.
You will promote a culture of learning and openness and ensure clinical staff have the knowledge, capability, systems and support to deliver evidence-based care and embed lessons learned in practice for the improvement of patient experience.

This post attracts a recruitment premium of £3,000 (pro-rata for part time roles). This is a one-off payment with half paid on appointment and half paid after the completion of a satisfactory probation period (6 months). The premium is taxable. Person Specification Qualifications Essential
* Diploma level/Degree in relevant health/social care profession, eg RMN, RLDN OT, Social Worker.
* Current relevant registration with the NMC or HCPC.
Desirable
* Masters Level Degree or equivalent.
Experience Essential
* Clinical Leadership and clinical care.
* Involvement in managing change/projects.
