About the Role:
As a Senior QA Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our applications meet the highest standards of quality and reliability. Your work will directly impact test automation, process efficiency, and product stability by designing and implementing robust testing strategies.
You will develop and maintain automated test frameworks, integrate them into CI/CD pipelines, and drive test coverage improvements across web applications. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will verify business assumptions, document testing processes, and contribute to Agile development cycles. Your attention to detail and passion for automation will help streamline testing efforts while ensuring a seamless user experience.
Join us remotely—you can be located anywhere within the CET time zone, as our work is 100% remote. This is a full-time position.

In this role, you will:
* Design, implement, and maintain automated testing frameworks to ensure software quality.
* Conduct manual testing for edge cases, exploratory testing, and business logic validation.
* Participate in planning business assumptions by collaborating with stakeholders to define and refine testing strategies.
* Verify business assumptions through comprehensive test execution and data validation.
* Create and document testing processes to ensure consistency, traceability, and continuous improvement.
* Maintain and develop existing software tests to align with evolving application features and requirements.
* Participate in daily meetings to discuss testing progress, blockers, and improvements.
* Adhere to and implement good software testing practices to enhance efficiency and reliability.
* Collaborate and support other members of the QA team by sharing knowledge, reviewing tests, and improving workflows.
* Work closely with development, business, and DevOps teams to ensure seamless integration of testing into the development lifecycle.
What We Expect from You:
* 5+ years of experience in a similar position.
* Strong understanding of web application development and testing.
* Proficiency in TypeScript and Playwright (must-have).
* Experience with Java and related test frameworks (Cucumber, REST Assured) (nice to have).
* Experience in creating CI processes for automated testing to ensure seamless test execution in pipelines.
* Experience with Jira and Confluence for test management and documentation.
* Theoretical and practical knowledge of the Kanban methodology.
* Experience in Web3 technologies (bonus).

Recruitment Process:
Our recruitment process includes several stages:
CV review: We are planning to review all the applications and get back to all candidates within 7 days.
Screening with recruiter: An introductory conversation during which we will tell you about us and the Venture Builder approach, our goals, the team and the project. At this stage, we will want to know your current situation, financial expectations and preferred form of employment.
Technical interview (Live Coding Session): 1.5 hour session with Lead of QA and a Senior Developer from Linity, covering technical aspects of the role. This session will include a practical task (live-coding), hands-on technical discussions, problem-solving, and an opportunity for you to ask questions.
Final interview: Final conversation with the Head of Technology (Linity) to tell you more about your daily responsibilities, team, tech stack and expectations. You can expect a few questions about experiences and challenges in previous jobs, good practices, and knowledge of specific tools and, of course, time for your questions.
