Our Public Sector client is looking to recruit a Senior Procurement Officer on a 3 month initial contract. Hybrid (once a month in the office or as required).
Your main duties as part of this role will be to:
1. Lead procurement processes across Adult Social Care and Public Health or Construction services.
2. Manage large open tenders, frameworks, and lower-value procurement activities.
3. Ensure compliance with Public Contracts Regulations and council policies.
4. Work closely with stakeholders to assess needs and deliver effective procurement solutions.
5. Identify and mitigate risks within procurement processes.
Requirements:
1. Proven experience in procurement within Adult Social Care and Public Health or Construction sectors.
2. Strong knowledge of Public Contracts Regulations and procurement frameworks.
3. Demonstrated ability to manage tenders and other procurement methods effectively.
4. Flexible approach to balancing complex and lower-value procurements.
