Springwood is a large primary age Special School (337 pupils aged 2-11) based over four sites, which caters for pupils with moderate, severe and complex needs and also pupils on the Autistic Spectrum.
At Springwood Primary School, we are constantly striving to create the best learning opportunities for every pupil. We have an exciting opportunity to join a large and lively school and be part of its future training and community developments. The successful candidate will be based at Springwood Primary School, Barton Road, Swinton, M27 5LP, and Springwood Primary, Preston Avenue, Irlam, M44 5XB on occasion.
Job Title: Receptionist/Administrator
Responsibilities:
1. Provide full clerical support to SLT and the whole school.
2. Act as the initial point of contact for visitors with a professional and friendly approach at all times.
Shortlisted candidates will be invited into school to undertake an ICT task together with a panel interview.
References will be requested prior to interview for shortlisted candidates only.
Please be aware that this post is subject to a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, and you will be required to meet the cost of the DBS check, currently £48.50. The payment for this will be deducted from your first four months’ salary payments at a rate of £12.38 per month. If you do not commence employment for any reason but the DBS has been processed, you will be sent an invoice for the payment of £49.50.
