Salary: £60,200 - £85,000
Role clearance type: Must be able to obtain and maintain government clearance.
As a senior Security specialist in our Shared Security Services team, reporting to the UK Security Manager, you will be working collaboratively with stakeholders across the organisation and be accountable for the day to day operational support, providing expertise and guidance to our Northrop Grumman employees and liaising with external agencies to ensure compliance with legal and accreditation frameworks.
You will interpret, document and implement operational security controls and processes as appropriate to protect Northrop Grumman and Customer assets within legal and compliance frameworks and have crypto custodian responsibilities. You will continually monitor the protection of physical and information assets, ensuring controls and compliance through guidance, training and risk based audit activities.

Key Responsibilities
1. Day to day operational support and governance oversight to ensure compliance to meet Northrop Grumman and customer compliance requirements.
2. Development and monitoring of operational physical and information asset security controls and criteria.
3. Crypto Custodian duties.
4. Support, guidance and documentation relating to security aspects of Bid responses.
5. Working collaboratively with our Global Enterprise Security teams to represent the UK ensuring best practices and UK Sovereign requirements are met aligned to the UK business direction and objectives.
Person Specification
1. Extensive knowledge of UK Government security standards.
2. Extensive experience in physical and cybersecurity practices in the defence industry, engaging at director level.
3. Crypto custodian experience.
4. ISO27001 experience.
5. Proven track record of effective security leadership with excellent interpersonal skills across a wide range of stakeholders in direct and matrixed environments.
