The Senior Data Analyst (Project Controls) manages and leads the implementation and delivery of PMO and project controls to support various projects. The role involves leading teams within the PMO and planning centers of excellence, ensuring safety, quality, cost, and compliance standards are met, and developing effective frameworks and strategies for project controls.
Key responsibilities include managing PMO and project controls performance, creating and implementing frameworks, advising project teams on cost, schedule, risk, and reporting, and managing stakeholder relationships. The role also involves developing baseline performance metrics, mentoring team members, and supporting the integration of project controls with other disciplines.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in PMO and project controls leadership within complex construction projects, proficiency with risk management tools, and a strong understanding of construction project lifecycle and management consultancy. Professional certifications such as APM PPC Foundation and Practitioner, and progress towards Chartered status are preferred.
The position requires strong interpersonal skills, the ability to work under pressure, and experience managing diverse teams and stakeholder relationships. Knowledge of data analytics, Power BI, and other reporting tools is essential. The role is based at the client's office in Newbury with some travel, and SC clearance is required.
