The Board of Trustees wish to appoint an experienced and successful teacher as Specialist Practitioner. In Harmony, Specialist Practitioners are class teachers primarily deployed to academies as class teachers. They demonstrate excellence in the classroom and are role models amongst their colleagues. As a Specialist Practitioner the post holder will be expected to model excellence in teaching and learning. They are also highly skilled in improving outcomes for the most vulnerable including those with Special Educational Needs or identified as disadvantaged. Each post holder will also be an active member of The Harmony Trust Development Team. They are expected to be flexible and responsive to academy and trust needs. This means the post holder could be required to support colleagues across all academies within the Trust: this could be by delivering CPD or coaching and mentoring colleagues. It could also be leading a specific implementation project.
