Coverage:
* 3+ years experience of DBA.
* Extensive experience with data warehouses.
* Proven working experience as a Database Administrator.
* Hands-on experience with database standards and end user applications.
* Excellent knowledge of data backup, recovery, security, integrity and SQL.
* Previous experience with DBA case tools (frontend/backend) and third party tools.
* Familiarity with programming languages API.
* Problem solving skills and ability to think algorithmically.
* Excellent understanding of the development life cycle for business apps.
* Strong knowledge of logical and physical data modelling concepts.
* T-SQL (MS SQL Server 2014, 2012).
* SQL Server engine, performance tuning, storage internals + indexing.
* Problem solving, solution architecture and build.
* Database & data warehouse design (preferably Kimball), architecture.
* SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) 2012, 2014.
* SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) 2012, 2014.
* SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS) 2012, 2014.
* MDX & DAX Scripting.
* Ability to work on multiple issues.
* Good analytical skills and an ability to define and articulate.
* Good communication and interpersonal skills.
* Strong time management responsibility / project management skills.
Training:
On the job training will be provided, and other specific training agreed as required.
