Huish Education Services (HES), part of the Huish Trust has an opportunity for a Catering Service Supervisor to join our team at Richard Huish College, managing the College kitchen and food outlets across the campus.
As Catering Service Supervisor, you will
· have line management responsibility for staff,
· work with the Lead Chef Manager and Catering Operations Manager to produce menus for the college and Boarding house residents.
· be responsible for the day-to-day operational efficiency of the catering service, planning, preparation and presentation of food and beverages.
· oversee the ordering of all produce,
· support the Lead Chef Manager in the assessment of supplier quality control.
· ensure that health and safety regulations are always met, and the organisation food hygiene procedures are adhered to, both personally and by staff in the food preparation and service areas.

· Salary: £28,188 FTE (£14.40 per hour) – actual salary £27,540
· Contract: Permanent
· Hours: Average of 37.5 hours per week over 44 weeks
· Shift pattern: Between 7.30-19.30
· Working Pattern: Over 5 days per week, Monday to Sunday on a rota basis
