We are looking for an Operations Officer to join our team on a permanent, full-time basis working 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

The Role
As an Operations Officer at Westworks, you will be central to our vision To harness the power of procurement to create a better future.
Working in a team of 3 Operations Officers, supported by a Business Administrator and overseen by the Head of Operations, you will be responsible for tender management, supplier engagement, member liaison and associated tasks. As the dedicated point of contact for your allocated projects, you will be expected to provide excellent customer service to all associated stakeholders.
The detail of your day-to-day tasks will vary but you will be working with a well-established process. Your tasks will include:
- Initial liaison with our customers to understand their requirements and how we can help.
- Advising members on how best to package their tenders.
- Creating and monitoring tenders in our procurement system.
- Liaising with our approved suppliers in relation to live tenders and forthcoming opportunities.
- Collaborating with the wider team in relation to marketing and finance activity.
About You
The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate strong communication skills, as well as proficiency in navigating different systems and processes across an organisation. You should thrive in a high-performing environment, exhibit meticulous attention to detail, and demonstrate adaptability to support operational needs.
You will be confident and experienced in prioritising your workload and working independently. A clear and confident communicator, both written and orally, you will be confident interacting with stakeholders at all levels. A team player, you will be highly organised, and proactive and have a solution-focused approach.
You will have demonstrable experience of working on multiple workstreams at any one time and be confident in learning new concepts and ways of working. Our customers are at the heart of what we do so an ability to demonstrate excellent customer service skills is highly desirable.
A skilled user of MS Office software you will also be adept at learning new systems.
We do not expect you to have any procurement experience or knowledge of the built environment. What is important to us is your transferrable skills, attitude, approach to work and ability to deliver quality output, whilst supporting our continuous improvement.
