Busy general practice environment providing healthcare and phlebotomy care for patients via requests from clinicians. Working in a clinical room from one site. Manor Road is a SystmOne practice with 14,000 patients, 8 partners, and 31 staff.
Project a positive and friendly image to patients and other visitors, either in person or via the telephone.
Work as part of the Nursing team helping each other to perform duties in a timely manner.
An acceptable DBS will be required for the role.
The role is working 8am to 6pm, Monday to Friday.
Main duties of the job
Job responsibilities:
HCA Duties:
1. ECGs
2. BP, height and weight checks
3. Immunisations under PSD (flu, shingles, pneumovax)
4. Diabetes foot checks (desirable)
5. Stocking clinical rooms
6. Wound checks (desirable)
7. Keep up to date with mandatory training on Bluestream and attend practice PTL sessions.
