About the role
As a Kitchen Assistant at MHA, you will be part of a dedicated team who prepare and serve meals for residents and staff. Duties will be varied and include basic cooking and cleaning along with respect for older people. Every day will be different, and you will have the opportunity to use your skills to make a real difference.

Moor Allerton Care Centre offers the opportunity for Leeds residents to join a friendly community, with all the freedom and privacy of having your own front door. It has a range of facilities and amenities that are designed to make retired life easy and enjoyable, including for people living with dementia.
The development is split into Yew Tree and Rosewood Court with a total of 70 one and two bedroom flats for rent, creating a diverse and vibrant community of residents aged 55 and over.

About you
The right values, attitude, and behaviours are more important than your previous career background. Therefore, whilst previous experience is desirable, your respect for older people and willingness to undertake training is more important. You don't need any qualifications to get started as a Kitchen Assistant. You will have a kind, warm, and caring nature and be able to work well as part of a team but also use your own initiative.
