Job Summary
This role is primarily to maintain and prepare exhibition equipment for the delivery of exhibitions in Birmingham. General duties include managing and preparing stock for exhibitions as instructed by the event operations supervisors, and building feature areas and exhibition stands.
The successful candidate will be based on site, leading teams of sub-contractors to build exhibition stands and feature areas. The role also involves stock inventory work, pre and post event so a good level of organisation and computer literacy is required.
Key Responsibilities
To build stands and/or feature areas in exhibitions, following design plans in line with QHSE and CBRE regulations and standards.
Prepare equipment in line with pick lists issued by the Event Operations Supervisors.
Develop strong relationships within the team.
To log, track and maintain stock inventories.
Manage day to day administrative duties as required by CBRE and the Client.
Timely & professional communication with internal and external clients.
Responsible for obtaining quotes for stock replenishment.Accountabilities
· Accountability to the site Contract Manager/Event Operations Supervisor.
· Overall responsibility for maintaining housekeeping in the full-service warehouse.
Person Specification
Experience
· Experience within the Exhibition Industry is desirable.
· Forklift Truck Licence Required
· Full UK Driving Licence
· Familiar with all Microsoft suite products
· Familiarity with CAD design plans
