The Company currently have vacancies for Deckhands in its ERRV/MRV fleet. Suitable candidates require to have a minimum of 6 months relevant sea time and have worked as a Deckhand previously, preferably on an ERRV vessel. Deckhand Is Responsible For The Following The execution of duties as designated by watch keeping rota. Deckhand is responsible to the Watch Keeping Officer on Watch for any / all duties. Responsible to the Coxswain when engaged as a Rescue Craft crew member. Deckhands should be familiar with the use of Breathing Apparatus and possess basic Fire Fighting Skills. Forming part of both the vessel's on board Emergency Response team, and Rescue Craft's whereby applicable. Monitoring safe working practices of shore contractors during periods of maintenance Actively promoting and progressing the company Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental Policy. Actively promoting inter-departmental communications.
