Wessex House is proud to be the first CAMHS inpatient unit in the South West to have achieved full accreditation from the Royal College of Psychiatrists (RCP) in March 2020. Our facility provides care for up to 12 young people aged 13 to 18 who require support for complex mental health needs.
Your Role
As a key member of our team, you'll play a crucial role in the recovery of our young people, working closely with them and their families to assess, plan, and implement tailored treatment plans. With a strong focus on recovery, you'll work towards the discharge of our young people, taking part in a range of therapeutic activities designed to support their care plans.

Requirements
* Valid registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC)
* Previous experience of working with children and young people is desirable
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to provide compassionate patient care
* Knowledge of the wide range of evidence-based treatment/therapeutic interventions (CBT, DBT)
* Understanding of relevant legislation and policies relating to children and young people
* Knowledge and understanding of mental health disorders in children and young people, and their impact on both the client group and their families/carers

Pay: £28,407.00-£34,581.00 per year
